xer0conf

xer0conf now has a greater future and different path to take as some of the enthusiasts from a very strong Forensic and Security background have shown interest in this project and now xer0conf is merged as lives as part of larger projects and has emerged into a full-fledged security suit platform, only available to very specific individuals with a very specific purpose! As a result, xer0conf is not available anymore for general use. 

xer0conf is NOT an OS, it's a set of customisation using custom written scripts to any existing OS to make it more light-weight, perform better, harden the security and to make common tasks easier and automated. It also focuses to find the best alternatives to the main stream default apps that are bulky and buggy. With the right interest and right focus (and ofcourse experience), you can build your own version of xer0conf with the customisations of your liking. There's no obligation for you to follow exactly the same path as I did, find your own interest and walk your own path!

The choices are as follows in this order

• Gentoo, for its performance, flexibility, openness and security

• Arch Linux, for its performance and stability

• FreeBSD, well, one cannot underestimate the maturity of this OS!
